Jordan + David | Bishop’s Lodge Resort, Santa Fe, NM

Jordan and David had a very small wedding with their closest friends that traveled from as far away as England at Bishop’s Lodge. It started raining half way through the ceremony so we were forced to all go into the gazebo. The rain let up just as the ceremony ended and we were able to do a few portraits of them on a hill top. It started to lightly rain again as we were finishing the portraits, Jordan and David were willing to stand in the rain for a few minutes to get the photos we needed.

Jill + Sean | Encantado Resort, Santa Fe, NM

Logan + Matt | Los Poblanos Inn and Hotel Albuquerque.

Logan And Matt had there a wedding at the beautiful Los Poblanos Inn and the reception at Hotel Albuquerque in Old Town. Brandon and I had a wonderful time. I think my favorite moment is when the best man gave Matt a big sloppy kiss on the check in the middle of his toast.

Beirut at Warehouse 21, Santa Fe, NM

Ellen and I have very different taste in music, but the one of the few bands we both love is Beirut. So when I found out they were coming to Santa Fe to play a benefit show for Warehouse 21 I jumped on the chance to buy tickets. The tickets went on sale on our wedding anniversary so it made the show that much more special.

We arrived during the opening band, but in between bands we were able to get a spot right up front center stage. They played to a crowd of about 300 people, and took these image which are all for sale to help raise money for Warehouse 21. They are 8×11″ edition of 2o . If you are interested in purchasing a print you can contact Warehouse 21 at (505) 989-4423 or info@warehouse21.org All profits go to Warehouse 21.

Kim + Matt, Cerrillos, NM wedding.

Kim and Matt’s wedding was at the lovely Hacienda Dona Andrea in Cerrillos, NM. Their always seemed to need to be the center of attention the whole day. Their dog Shiloh came and sat on her dress during the ceremony, and their bulldog Winston pushed his way in between Kim and her father during their dance.  My favorite event was the bouquet toss. Instead of getting a second arrangement to toss Kim came up with the idea to have everyone wear brightly colored gardening gloves.

Ceremony and Reception: Hacienda Dona Andrea

Flowers: Artichoke and Pomegranate

Catering: Marja Catering

Cakes: Chocolate Maven

Mandie + Andras | La Posada, Santa Fe, NM

Mandie and Andras’s wedding was full of emotion in a way that most people do not expect. Most expect the bride to break down in tears, but at this wedding it was the groom. I have seen many wedding where I can tell the groom wants to cry but holds it back. Andras was not the kind of man to hold it back. To be honest his emotion was so strong that it made it hard for me to hold back my own tears while I worked. My day ended with the couple insisting that I tried the party favors for guest which was a traditional Hungarian drink called Palinka. After I opened mine I was informed that it was locally called “Hungarian Jet Fuel”. I must say it lived up to it’s name.

Danielle + Earl | La Posada, Santa Fe, NM

Danielle and Earl had a very small wedding at La Posada with family and a few friends and just hired me to photograph the ceremony. (They are going to have the reception for all their friends in Seattle later this year.) Earl’s belt buckle was the most important part of his attire, and wanted a close up it during portrait session. Jokingly I told Danielle to be as metal as possible and did it as you will see below. When I walked into her room before the ceremony I noticed a plate of bacon and when I found out it was the brides we talked about our mutual love for bacon and had an instant bond.

SnowDotCom - These pictures are beautiful. I especially love the shot of the belt buckle. Could be my favorite. Hope you and the wedding party involved all enjoyed the ceremony at La Posada. -Drew

Lindsey + Joe | Andover Country Club, Andover, MA

I first meet Lindsey at her sisters wedding that I photographed in 2008 here in New Mexico. I had such fun with their family I instantly hoped someone else in the family would get married soon and give me a call. Well, two years later I get an email from Lindsey saying she was getting married, and I was the first person that came to her mind to photograph her wedding. Even though my time was short in the Boston area I had a great time with the McWhorter family again. Many remembered me from Gena’s wedding three years ago. Joe’s family also showed me how to party Boston style, and treated me like family.

Lindsey has three brothers, and Joe has a brother that are not married yet. When you are ready you know how to find me, and I’ll be ready to hang out with the McWhorter or Colelli families again.
